The Travelling Chef is Nancy Kelly, an accomplished chef with a touch of gypsy in her blood. Never content to settle into a routine, she prefers to cook for clients far and wide, always adding new and exciting culinary delights to her repertoire. Her home base is a 40-acre farm in Northern Michigan, where she is well known in culinary circles for her private dinner party service and formal catering business. Her services are equally popular in her home town of Chicago where a number of private and corporate clients seek her out for weddings, buffets, fundraisers, and other parties. Nancy also spends a part of every year in Paris, where she trained as a chef and taught cooking lessons, catered dinner and cocktail parties, and led market tours. Her culinary travels have also taken her to Ireland, Rome, Naples, Sardinia, Miami, and San Francisco. The result of her globe-trotting can be seen in her fresh and innovative menus. She is currently on the advisory board of Robert Morris College's newly created Institute of Culinary Arts, along with other top chefs from the Chicago area.
