About The Travelling Chef

The Travelling Chef is Nancy Kelly, an accomplished chef with a touch of gypsy in her blood. Never content to settle into a routine, she prefers to cook for clients far and wide, always adding new and exciting culinary delights to her repertoire.

Her home base is Pellston Market, where she brings her love of exceptional foods to the shoppers of northern Michigan. Nancy is well known in culinary circles for her weekly Market Dinners and busy catering business. Her services are sought by private and corporate clients for weddings, buffets, fundraisers, and other events.

Nancy has for many years traveled annually to Paris, where she trained as a chef, taught cooking lessons, catered dinner and cocktail parties, and led market tours. Her culinary travels have also taken her to Ireland, Rome, Naples, Sardinia, Sicily, Puglia, Miami, Palm Springs, Oregon and San Francisco. The results of her globe-trotting can be seen in her fresh and innovative menus.
